Background & Education

I am an Information Systems student in the Junior Core at Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business, specializing in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.

I focus on translating operational business questions into structured relational schemas, clean SQL queries (CTEs, joins, aggregations), and intuitive decision models that solve practical problems.

My approach is pragmatic and hands-on: architecting relational databases in PostgreSQL, analyzing chronological data flows, and leveraging modern AI engineering tools to accelerate development workflows.

EternalPlan — Event Budget & Cashflow Due-Date Planner

A web application built to solve a key data modeling problem in event budgeting: expenses are rarely paid in single sums, but rather across dozens of specific milestone deadlines (deposits, installment dates, and final vendor balances). EternalPlan models expenses chronologically against scheduled income dates so users know whether their cash reserves will be solvent on the exact dates payments come due.

  • ▸ Relational Data Architecture: Designed relational schema in PostgreSQL (Supabase) to model one-to-many relationships across budget categories, payment milestones, and scheduled income dates.
  • ▸ Chronological Cashflow Engine: Solves the event cashflow dilemma by projecting cumulative obligations against scheduled bi-weekly income, identifying deficit dates before contracts are signed.
  • ▸ AI Budget Scanner (Gemini API): Evaluates categorized line items to recommend commonly overlooked contingency expenses like service charges, alterations, and setup fees.
  • ▸ AI-Assisted Workflow: Leveraged modern generative AI tools to accelerate schema validation, component architecture, and rapid feature iteration.
